Hudson wants you to know....

I am going to be a....
BIG SISTER!

That's right...Baby Frericks 2.0 will be arriving in early June 2012! We are all so excited and blessed to welcome a new Frericks to the family and can't wait for everyone to meet him or her.

We had our 20 week ultrasound today and everything looked great. Baby F was measuring right on track and was super active. He/She was moving, twisting, turning and basically hiding from the camera the whole time.

Here are a few pictures of the newest Frericks:

Baby foot....don't think it is as big as Hudson's was...YET!
I will keep everyone posted on how everything is progressing but we just wanted to share our very exciting news!

PJ was very excited to hear he will be having another cousin...Hudson just loves him...can you tell!

Christmas 2011

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!  I sure hope Santa was as good to you all as he was to me!  I had a full week long Christmas Celebration and it was a blast!

We headed to Atlanta the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with all the Halters.  We had a full few days.  One night we went to Atlantic Station to see all of their Christmas decorations and festivities!  It was so much fun.  They had a huge tree, and reindeer made out of lights and they even made it snow!  After we walked around and even rode on the Santa train...we all got hot chocolate and yummy desserts!  It was a very fun night!

It was chilly in Atlanta
A few days later, we celebrated our "Early Christmas Eve".  SueSue and MamMam made a big Christmas meal and afterward we got to open presents!  I got so many wonderful things from my cousins, Auntie Leens and Uncle Pace and SueSue, BooBoo and MamMam.  We had so much fun!  I even got to give out some presents and that was fun also.  Although I really enjoyed opening the most!
Glass of Christmas wine never hurt anyone right?
SueSue and BooBoo gave me my very own basketball hoop so I could start practicing my skills.  I can already dunk....no big deal.
Such an awesome gift from SueSue and BooBoo
Our last night in town, my cousins and Aunt and Uncle came over for a big pizza meal and we had so much fun playing.  We got to go down in the basement and play with BooBoo's golf clubs and balls and Reedo even let me ride his big wheel.  My cousins are the best!
Love my cousins
The Thursday before Christmas, we packed up all our new goodies and headed back to Nashville.  We had to get home and get ready for Santa to come!  Mommy and I had already wrapped all our presents so I decided to help her make cookies for Santa Claus.  I am a good helper, but I am an even better taste tester....I love chocolate chips!
Making cookies for Santa
On Christmas Eve we headed to church for the beautiful service they do.  They tell the story of Jesus' birth and even have people dress up to play each part.  I loved the music we got to sing, although we did have to go downstairs to the big room and watch it on the big screen since I wouldn't sit still in the pews upstairs!  I did get all dressed up for church though...can you tell how excited I am?
Merry Christmas
Can you believe that Santa came to visit me?!?!  Here is a short video of my very first Santa reaction!!!

He left me so many wonderful things.  I got a new ride on toy that makes noise and bounces, an elephant that shoots balls out of his trunk (it makes me laugh), an art easel, crayons, a new chair with my name on it, slippers and he even filled my stocking!
Santa came and it was awesome
Mommy, Daddy and I spent the morning opening our stockings and playing with our Santa gifts and then Daddy made a great pancake breakfast!  After breakfast we opened all our gifts from each other.  Mommy and Daddy and my sisters got me some wonderful things like my very own play laptop, a new soccer ball, clothes and other stuff.  It was so much fun to rip open the wrapping paper but I really loved pulling the tissue out of the bags!

That afternoon Grandma and Grandpa Frericks and Aunt Kelly came down and we got to do presents all over again!  I even got my own baby doll.  It makes noises and everything.  I loved pushing it around in MY new umbrella stroller - even though Mommy and Daddy had to exchange my stroller b/c the weight limit was only 35 lbs and I already weigh 30!  Luckily we found one with a 50 lb limit that should last me much longer!  After presents we had a delicious Christmas Dinner!  Overall - it was a wonderful day and I can't wait till Christmas next year!!!!!!

As always here are some pictures of Christmas...there are a lot of them so be prepared:

Thanksgiving and Almost Christmas....

Wow...it's been a while since my last post and we have done so much fun stuff.  To start off it is great being ONE!  I have had so much fun and I got to turn my car seat around to face forward...it's amazing everything I have been missing staring backwards this whole time!  Needless to say, I like riding in the car much more now that I can see where we are going!

After my awesome first birthday party, we kind of took it easy for a little while.  We have spent some fun weekends at home trying new things like play-dough, baking and coloring.  I LOVE the play dough containers...not so much the actual dough...but Daddy got very into it!  I love to color with my crayons also!
Fun with Play-Dough
I have also been trying lots of new foods.  Mommy and Daddy let me try some sweets for the first time and as you can see...I was loving the brownies!  I really like all food except carrots.  I absolutely will not eat them...at school I eat everything and leave those on my plate...even if they are mixed into something like a pot pie...my teachers say it is quite impressive how I can do it.  I have been officially weaned off the bottle for almost a month now (I did really well and it only took about two weeks).  I am on nothing but sippy cups and cups with straws and I like them.  They make me feel like such a big girl.  New foods that I have tried and really liked are: all kinds of beans, all rice, bar-b-que, green bean casserole, grapes, pineapple (really all fruit), cheese (even spicy horseradish flavor), scrambled eggs, pancakes, Uncle Pace's home-ade chicken fingers and I really LOVE peas!  Seriously, I eat them like candy!
I love brownies
Our first big adventure after my birthday was a visit to Bowling Green to visit Grandma and Grandpa Frericks.  We had a good time.  I got to play with them and Miss Pam and we even went to this big apple orchard!  I went down a huge slide with Mommy and got to run around.  They had two doggies that looked like Makers so I had fun petting them.

After that, we headed to Atlanta for Thanksgiving and Cousin Reed's third birthday party!  Thanksgiving was, as always, a blast.  I did a good job eating my Thanksgiving lunch (which was delicious thanks to SueSue and MamMam) and really had fun playing with my cousins.  After we ate, we went outside and rode big wheels and threw the football.  They are all so sweet to me and pushed me around on the big wheels since my legs weren't long enough and then even let me carry the football around too.  PJ let me help him draw with sidewalk chalk also!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we headed over to Uncle Pace and Auntie Leens' house for football watching and a birthday party.  It was so fun to play in the backyard and swing on the swings.  I got to sit at the kids table instead of a high chair which made me feel so grown up.  We had a great meal (I cleaned my plate and then walked around the kids table and cleaned everyone else's plate...).  Reed got some great presents and overall it was a great day!
Reed's Third Birthday
When we got home from Atlanta, we had about a week of the "norm" and then we starting decorating for Christmas.  Mommy, Daddy and I went to the tree lot and picked out our tree.  It is mine and daddy's first Real tree so we are both very excited.  I think we got a very pretty one.  I was such a good helper putting ornaments on.  I made sure to be very gentle with all of them.
Decorating our tree
SueSue gave me my very own Elf on the Shelf so Daddy read me the story and we put our Elf out.  We didn't name him yet b/c I get to do that next year when I can talk a little better.  But I loved the story and everyday we make sure to find the Elf's new hiding place!  I think I have been a very good girl so hopefully he has all good reports back to Santa.
Daddy told me all about my Elf
As you can see our finished tree looks so beautiful.  I love pointing at it and saying "tree".
Our beautiful tree
Speaking of Santa....NOT A FAN!  We spent a few weeks talking about Santa, looking at pictures of him, etc, etc.  Well nobody told me I had to go sit in his lap!  As you can tell, I didn't love it!  I did however tell him bye-bye after it was all over and still love seeing his picture...just not sitting in his lap.
Someone save me...
This past weekend we started our new family tradition of going to Opryland, seeing the ICE exhibit and walking through the hotel to see the pretty lights.  The hotel was CRAZY crowded but I got to show off my walking skills and loved looking at all the lights they have up.  ICE was so fun!  Ok so it was 10 degrees in there but they gave us huge parkas and I loved seeing all the fun Madagascar characters made out of ice.  Afterward, I got to meet these two guys and I loved them.  I gave them both a hug and didn't want to leave...
These penguins were funny!
I think that is about all of our adventures.  Let's see what other updates I have:
- I graduated up the Transition class at school which is all 12-18 month olds.  I have a blast in there b/c we get to nap on mats and not cribs and we eat our meals in a chair at a table...instead of high chairs.  It's a lot of fun.
- I am a super speedy walker and hate to be carried these days.  I can even get up and down stairs by myself...although sometimes I climb the stairs when I am not supposed to...oh well.
- I can say so many words.  I still say "more" and "please" in sign language but I can also actually say: more, dog, see, no (which is always accompanied by a good head shake), ball, all done, down, mamma, dada, outside (which just sounds like 'side'), and some more.
- Mommy and Daddy say that I can understand so many words and know what to do with so many things like: I can pick my basketball out of a pile of balls, I like to try to put my socks and shoes on, I am very good at putting things "back where they go", I know what "hot" means, etc.
- I still love to dance!

I guess that is all for now.  Here are some fun pictures from the past month or so.  I guess the next time you hear from me it will be after Christmas, so I hope Santa is good to everyone!!

Pumpkin Carving and Halloween

I just wanted to share some pictures with you of my very first Pumpkin Carving and Halloween Experience.  I had so much fun with both and even snuck in my first trip to the zoo also!  It was a great weekend!

Carving my First Pumpkin
I got to help mom gut my pumpkin...as you can see...I was a very good helper!

Cheese!
Here is my final product!  Not bad for my first time!

My First Pumpkin
Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo also!  It was so much fun.  I loved the fish, elephants and giraffes.  There were lots of other animals there too but they were all being lazy and sleeping...I only liked the ones that moved around!  As you can see I am very into walking these days so Daddy helped me practice my new skill.  I have just started holding hands also...

Holding hands with my Daddy
Then we got to celebrate Halloween.  Technically it was my second, but last year I was only 7 days old...so I didn't really get into it.  This year I LOVED it.  My neighborhood has a big Costume Parade and then everyone splits up and trick-or-treats!  I did the parade and then headed home to help hand out candy and watch all the big kids.  I had a blast!

I dressed as Maysie...pretty cute huh?

Just testing the candy...Snickers are GOOD!

That is all for now.  Here is a link so you can see all of my Holiday weekend fun:

ONE YEAR OLD

ONE YEAR OLD!
THIS JUST IN: I just went to the doctor and everything looks great.  I am growing like a weed for sure!  I now weigh 25.9 lbs and I am officially 32 inches long.  That puts me right into the >97th percentile for both categories!  Such a big girl!!!

Can you believe I finally turned ONE!  It is so exciting to be such a big girl now!  I have had a great time the past month so here is a quick update before I tell you all about my big birthday party!

First of all, I got my very first ear infection!  It was not fun...and it all started with a stomach virus...which I then passed to Mommy and Daddy...we had a rough few days.  But once we all recovered, I got an ear infection!  Luckily, My awesome doctor gave me this delicious pink medicine and I sucked it down like candy so I felt better really quickly.  Which was a good thing b/c we had a big trip planned....

I had my very first SEC football game experience.  We went to Knoxville to visit Aunt Rachael and Uncle Doug and had such a good time.  I LOVED their little dog Cooper and we played so hard.  I also got to go to a Lady Vols soccer practice b/c it was soccer Alumni weekend.  I met so many fun friends and watched the big girls play soccer.  Then we got all decked in orange (even daddy put on an orange shirt) and we rode a super fun train from the soccer field to the Football stadium where we tailgated with all our friends!  I had a blast!

A week later, my Grandma and Grandpa Frericks came down for the day and we went to Gentry's Farm. They had a ton of animals and games to play with and I took my very first Hayride.  I also got to go out into the field and pick my own pumpkins!  We got so many and had such a good time.  I went through a maze and even got to play with some corn and ride a little tractor.  It was a great day for sure!

Gentry's Farm was so fun!
Then we had to start planning for my big Birthday party!  Mommy and Aunt Macy went shopping for supplies and while Mommy was hard at work, Aunt macy dressed me like a zebra and walked me around the store!  I didn't mind though!

I make a pretty cute zebra
Mommy and Daddy gave me my very own chair for my birthday!  It is the perfect size and I love sitting in it to watch Kipper!  But really I like it to climb on it, over it, you name it.  It is perfect!
My chair and my buddy Kipper
Can you see how much I have grown?!?  This was at Gentry's Farm also and we thought it would be fun to see how tall I am....I would say pretty tall!

Pushing Three Feet before my First birthday...
Now let's get to the good part...MY BIRTHDAY PARTY!  What a great day!  First of all, SueSue and BooBoo came into town on Thursday to help us get ready for the big day!  We had fun playing and shopping for food and supplies.  Then, My Cousins and Uncle Pace and Auntie Leens got to town Friday night!  I was so excited to see my cousins b/c they are so sweet to me and play with me all the time.  Now that I can walk, I can actually keep up with them...well sometimes at least!

My party was jungle themed and Aunt Macy and her friend Miss Laurel worked so hard on decorations...and they turned out AMAZING!  We had giraffes, lions, elephants...you name it!  We also had a ball pit in the backyard, cornhole games and balloons galore!  We had all sorts of snacks and even watched a little football!  I had an amazing giraffe cake made out of cupcakes and Publix even gave me my very own "Smash" cake that I could smash my face into.  I had other plans though...like not even TOUCHING it!  That's right...I wanted nothing to do with it!  Oh well...maybe next year!

I had so many friends come over for my party and got so many wonderful gifts!  I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing friends and family!  Here are some pictures from the festivities!

Not sure what I am supposed to do with this thing...
My awesome Giraffe Cake
Presents are fun!
My birthday outfit...Uggs and all
Well that is all I know for now!  I go to the doctor this week so Mommy will update my blog with my new measurements!  I hope I have grown a lot!  I am going to head downstairs and make sure my car seat gets turned around so I can start facing forward like a big kid!!!  See ya soon!

As always here are some picstures of my last month and even more of my birthday party:

Watch out Beyonce....

I had to share this little gem!

Excuse Tom's off-beat clapping in the background!

I especially enjoy when she holds on to the counter for some booty poppin!

I think Beyonce has some competition!!

One more month....

I can't believe that in one month from today I will be ONE YEAR OLD!  My first year has flown by and has been full of so many exciting things.  I started school, I started eating new foods, I started crawling and then walking...what's next???

My last month has been pretty jam packed with new adventures so let me see if I can catch you up on some them...

First of all, I finished up my swim lessons.  I had a lot of fun but I am not sure if I learned anything.  I still keep my mouth and eyes wide open when I go under or have water poured on me...but I love it anyway!  Luckily I got to put my new skills to use when we headed to the lake for Labor Day and my cousin Charlie's Birthday.  We had such a good time.  When we first got there, SueSue had this picture of me...or at least I thought it was me...turns out, that is my mom's baby picture!  Scary how much we look alike huh?

 My Twin - My mom

While we were at the lake we did a lot of swimming, playing, and relaxing.  I got to hang out with my cousins which is always fun.  They are so sweet to me and play with me all the time.  PJ loves to carry me around as you can see below.

I also got to experience sand for the first time.  Uncle Frank has a little beach over at his house so all us kids went over to play.  I am not so crazy about this whole sand in my bathing suit thing...but I had a good time riding the kayak while Daddy pushed me and also throwing the ball for Maysie and Makers.
Not so sure about this sand situation

As you all know Labor Day weekend also means the start of College football - whoo-hoo!  So I have been watching a lot of football with my mom and dad.  I even got to stay up late one night to watch the Notre Dame game....Daddy is slightly obsessed with them but hey whatever it takes to let me stay up I am in!

Speaking of tv...I have actually started to take an interest.  I am not allowed to watch too much of it but every now and then I get to watch a little Sprout or Sesame Street and I really love it.  As you can see below, this ant show was super interesting!
Every fall our new neighborhood has a festival called the Fall in the Hall and we went to check it out this year.  It is free and had all sorts of fun things like jumpy castles and inflatable slides, snow-cones and hot dogs.  I got to pet a police horse and meet some firemen.  They even named me a Junior Firefighter so I had to wear my hat and badge of course!

I don't go back to the doctor till my One Year check up next month but when we were at the lake SueSue and Auntie Leens weighed me to see if I weighed as much as my Three year old Cousin Reed.  I was just barely shy of him at 28 lbs but did weigh over 25 lbs!  So that is exciting.  I also got a new big girl car seat and hopefully can turn it around and face forward after my birthday!  Staring backwards is getting pretty old!

Lately I have become a WALKING MACHINE.  That's right...I walk everywhere...well it's more like a run than a walk.  Sometimes I get going so fast I just fall flat on my tummy!  I also love to climb.  I climb on, over, in, through, and up anything and everything.  Daddy caught me all the way at the top of the stairs the other day...and I did it without making a sound!  I'm kind of a ninja!

I also got to try all sorts of new foods and let's just say...I am not picky!  I LOVED the bar-b-que pork I had at the lake and lately I have been eating peas like they are candy.  Auntie Leens also made some mean home made mac & cheese that I devoured!  I pretty much eat anything...except carrots...don't even get me started with those things!  Mommy and Daddy are excited now b/c they don't have to buy anymore baby food!  I also finally learned my sign language.  I can say "more" and "please" really well.  I am now working on "thank you" so hopefully I can get that mastered soon.

I guess that is all for now.  Here are some fun videos Mommy took of me doing some of my favorite things:  brushing my teeth and showing off my walking, talking and signing skills!

Sitting in the sink to brush is really the only way to do it

Dancing, walking, talking, signing, drinking, clapping...doing it all

I guess that is all for now!  I will check back with you after I turn ONE!

As always here are some pics from my adventures over the last month:
