November 2022

A little bit late on November but we have been busy busy!

November brought us the end of soccer for the Twins!  They both loved it and learned a lot.

The twins are still loving their new school!  Sometimes they do look a little bit alike..as long as they are sitting!  Conner still has about 4 inches of height on Tinsley!

We had a wonderful week at the Beach over Thanksgiving with the Halter cousins.  It was a little chilly but it didn't stop the kids getting in the ocean and pool.

PJ took them crab hunting...

We enjoyed the heated pool a lot...

We had a great dinner out where Conner tried fried oysters for the first time and loved them.  Pretty sure he was starving and he thought it was chicken but it didn't stop him from devouring them!

We did a lot of digging on the beach and just about everyone got buried!

Funny to see me and Tom in sweatshirts and the kids in bathing suits in the ocean!  Oh well..they are way braver than me!

Beach sunsets are pretty awesome!

The pups enjoyed a week at doggy fun camp!  Pretty sure Weller loved it more than Hasil but they both survived!!

Since I am so far behind, Christmas will be in less than week!  We have had a busy December so far and can't wait to see if Santa finds our house on Christmas Eve!!

October 2022

Fall is finally here!  (Even though it is still 78 degrees in Nashville).

October brought us a very late birthday celebration for the Twins, some fun soccer trips for the girls, a big 12th birthday for Hudson and of course Halloween!

Hudson and Sullivan both enjoyed fun road trips for soccer.  Hudson to Cleveland, OH and Sullivan to St. Louis.

We finally got some time to celebrate the twins big Fifth birthday!  We had a blast bowling and playing in the arcade with all of our old neighborhood friends!

We enjoyed a week off of school during fall break.  Sullivan snuck away to the beach with a friend and then rest of us had a staycation here at home!  We were able to squeeze in some time at the Pumpkin Patch which was a lot of fun!

We also celebrated another birthday in October!  Hudson turned TWELVE!

She is past the age of big birthdays so instead I took her and two friends to a Haunted House/Haunted Woods.  It was hilarious watching them freak out all night!

We also enjoyed a couple of weekends with a soccer-free day here and there and we filled our time by getting...A NEW PUPPY.

Meet Weller, she is a five month old Red Lab.  We have had our eyes on her for a while but I just wasn't sure I was ready to go through the 9 week old puppy phase again.  But as time went on and she was the last of the litter, I figure it had to be fate!  So we drove halfway to Kentucky and picked her up just in time for Halloween!

Finally we wrapped up October with Halloween in our new neighborhood!  And it did not disappoint!  There were haunted garages, dance parties, an electric chair, tons of people and tons of fun!

That's about all for October!  November brings us the end of Soccer and the beginning of volleyball for Hudson, the end of Baseball/soccer and the start of basketball and gymnastics for the twins and the winding down of soccer and the start of basketball for Sullivan.

Never a dull moment around here!

September 2022

Running a bit behind on our September adventures but our life is chaos right now!

Quick update and a few pics:

Hudson wrapped up her first Middle School Volleyball season and they ended up 6th Grade County Champions!

Her soccer team is doing well also.  They are about halfway through their very first ECNL RL season and currently sit in First place in their division.

Sullivan's soccer team is doing very well also.  They are playing really great soccer and having good success in league play (playing in the top division an age group up).  They have one game left and have a good chance at qualifying for the Fall State Cup.

Thomas is still playing great baseball.  Even on the bigger field, he is hitting the ball well and getting used to the bigger infield and much longer throws!!

The biggest news from September is that we officially have two FIVE year olds in the house!

The twins tuned ONE WHOLE HAND this past month and are so big!  We celebrated a little bit late but had a super fun bowling and arcade party with all of our friends from our old neighborhood!

They are both doing great at soccer and baseball.  Conner loves baseball, Tinsley tolerates it but has already announced she is going to stop playing next year to focus on soccer!  Haha.

Conner is still off the charts at 48.25 Inches tall and 46 pounds.  Tinsley is still our smallest little nugget at 44 inches tall and 40 pounds.

That is about all for now.

October brings us more soccer and baseball, travel volleyball try outs and of course Halloween fun!

August 2022

August...the longest most jam packed month of the year (except maybe May)!

Everyone is off to a great start in their brand new schools.  They have all made some friends and are enjoying their teachers and new routines.

Hudson is in middle school now - big 6th Grader!

Sullivan is in her last year of Elementary School - big 5th Grader!

Thomas is settling into Elementary school now with real grades and real tests and quizzes - big 2nd Grader!

And the Twins are in their LAST year of PreK!  They are really loving their new school!

August also means we are in full sports mode.

Hudson is LOVING middle school volleyball and has learned a lot and improved so much!  She is also well into her travel soccer season .  This year she is playing ECNL RL and State League so she will be traveling all over - Memphis, Columbus OH, Cleveland OH, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, etc!  It is going to be a busy tough season but so far her team is really starting to find their groove.

Sullivan is well into her soccer season as well.  Her team is playing up an age group and in State League for the first time.  So far they are playing well and we are excited to see how this season goes as we added a few really talented players to the team!  Our one roadtrip so far this year took us to Knoxville for the day, so of course we had to stop at Buc-cees!

Thomas is back out on the baseball field.  He had to move up an age group to 8U which means a bigger field and bigger opponents but so far he is loving it!

The twins are pulling double duty and playing both Baseball AND TSC Pre-Academy soccer!  So far so good for both!

Hasil is still living her best life.  Going for runs, chasing bunnies and snoozing on every piece of furniture she can find!

Other than sports and school, we were able to squeeze in a day at the Williamson County Fair!  Of course it wouldn't be a fun plan without someone getting sick, so Conner and Tom stayed home while Conner had the stomach bug all day!  The rest of us spent way too many hours in the heat riding sketchy rides and eating all the fair food!  Tinsley is an adrenaline junkie and did every ride she was tall enough for!  No fear in that one!

That is about all for now.

September brings us weekly baseball games, the end of Volleyball and several soccer trips (Columbus OH, Cincinnati, Memphis, and Cleveland).
