Just a few weeks late, but in our world that is on time these days! April was full of travel, sports, school events and much more!
We kicked off April with a little Mother/Son Nerf War event. The moms dominated obviously!

March flew in and out so fast, I am not sure what even happened. I guess it was because we were on the go every single weekend in March!
March brought us the official start to baseball season for the boys. Thomas is playing with his Crieve Hall Crushers team again and doing well! This is their last season of coach pitch so I am soaking up all the action because I know next year in kid pitch might be rough....haha!
Conner is playing 6U Majors at Franklin Ball Club again. He is on the Red Sox this season and is playing really well!
February has been full of volleyball, more volleyball and a little bit of COLD COLD soccer.
Hudson's Volleyball season kicked off with events in Atlanta, Knoxville and home. They took home second in AAU Super Regionals which was fun to watch.
We squeezed in a few soccer games and had a few more get cancelled for snow!!!
Sullivan attended her first ever middle school dance and had a blast!
Unfortunately, We also lost my Granny, "Mam-Mam" to my kids. She was an incredible 104 and half years old! She was witty and funny and stubborn and lived a long great life. We made a trip to Eatonton, GA for the funeral which was a quick but good trip. The kids got to meet some cousins they have never met before and got to see the Halter Cousins which is always a favorite in our house!
That was about it for February. March brings us LOTS of travel for soccer and volleyball, Spring Break and the beginning of baseball games! Never a dull moment!
Here are the rest of the pics from our February adventures:
Better late than never I guess!
December was such a fun month! Between soccer, basketball and volleyball, team and class parties and trips to both Columbus Georgia and Ohio, we did it all!
We started the month off with the wrap-up of TSC soccer and the start of basketball for the four youngest and Travel volleyball for Hudson.
Tinsley is playing basketball for the first time and having a blast. She has the stealing part down pat but is still working on the shooting!
Conner is playing basketball for the second year and is really starting to get it. He is ALL left handed but has a pretty good shot and makes some really great passes!
Thomas is playing basketball with some baseball teammates and some school friends. They are in a tough league against some very good (basically travel) teams but they are getting better each weekend!
Sullivan is playing for TSMS on both the JV and Varsity. It has been a rough season BUT they did put together a few wins recently and she has enjoyed playing with the 8th graders! I think it is safe to say she is ready for soccer season to start back!
Hudson's travel volleyball team started training together and she is very excited. They start games in January, so I am excited to watch them play! It should be an exciting year!
Either way, all these sports are wearing us all out!
When we went to the mall to see Santa, we surprised Tinsley with an early Christmas present! She got her ears pierced! She was very tough and didn't cry.....although it took everything in her to hold those tears back!
How is this year almost over? It has flown by faster than any other year I can remember!
November brought us the end of baseball and soccer for the boys and Tinsley.
The beginning of basketball and volleyball and a little Staycation for Thanksgiving!
Tinsley has her end of the season 4v4 tournament and played her heart out. Four 30 minute games with no subs and her team "tied" for first. After 4 hours of soccer with 6 year olds, including a shoot out where no goals were scored, calling it a tie for first was the only option!
Christmas is just around the corner and the kids are so excited! We are ready for a little break from school and sports and the hectic pace of our everyday life!
