May and June 2023

 May brought is the end of so many things...school, soccer, baseball, and volleyball....but it also meant the start of Summer!!

The twins graduated from Pre-K and are headed off to Kindergarten in the fall!  They are so excited to be going to school with Thomas next year!

Thomas finished 2nd grade with flying colors and is headed to 3rd!  He wrapped up his baseball season with a tough loss in the Semi-Finals of the Gold bracket.  They had to play 3 games in one day and were so exhausted, they just couldn't pull off the win!  He learned so much and improved so much!

He also turned 8 and had a great birthday party with friends from school and baseball!

Sullivan graduated from elementary school and is off to middle school and 6th grade! She had a great 5th grade year being named to Student Council, getting all As and winning a Character award the first month of school!  She is super excited about middle school and getting the chance to play middle school sports!

Hudson finished a great 6th grade year and is on to 7th grade!  She had a great year ending with making A/B Honor Roll!  She also wrapped up her first year of Club Volleyball and did awesome! 

June had us all over the place!  

Hudson's TSC team qualified for ECNL RL Play offs and headed to St. Louis with Tom and all the other kids!  They had a blast at the zoo and City Museum and even squeezed in a little bit of soccer. They had a great weekend beating the #1 seed and losing in the semi-finals.  

Sullivan had a big month in June.  She turned ELEVEN and celebrated with such a fun group of soccer friends bowling and swimming and a sleepover!

Sullivan's TSC team headed to SuperCopa in Bradenton, FL!  They had an awesome tournament!  They went 3-0 and won their bracket, making them the 6 seed and putting them in the top SuperCopa bracket.  They faced a very good team from Arizona and lost 1-2 in a tough battle!  It was a great weekend with such a fun team and of course they snuck in some pool and beach time! Looking forward to watching them play 11v11 next year!

With school being out, we have had a lot of pool time as well.  We even snuck off to the creek with the dogs for a few quick swims!

July will bring us our favorite lake trip, the start of volleyball season, and all five kiddos head to Camp Widjiwagan for a week!

March and April 2023

 Well we have packed as much as possible into the last two months!  Everybody is playing all the things!  Here is a quick update!

Hudson

• She is loving Volleyball!  Her team is really improving and she has learned so much in such a short amount of time.  It is fun to watch!
• She had a piece of her artwork chosen to be displayed at the Frist Art Museum downtown!
• Her soccer team is doing really well!  They have 2 games left in ECNL RL league play and are in a good spot to quality for the play-offs which would be really exciting!
• She survived 6th grade TCAP (standardized tests) and is just three shorts weeks away from being a 7th grader!

Sullivan:

• Sullivan's soccer team is doing really well also!
• They won their last tournament playing up a year in Louisville which was a lot of fun.
• She is doing great in 5th grade and is only 3 weeks away from being officially in MIDDLE SCHOOL

Thomas:

• Thomas is having a great baseball season with his team the Crushers
• They are playing 8U as all 6 and 7 year olds and battle in every game!
• He is doing great in 2nd grade as well and enjoyed his first Nerf Gun battle at school

Tinsley:

• Tinsley wrapped up gymnastics and has moved on to soccer
• She is doing really well in soccer and is very into it
• She started Speech Therapy to help with a few tough words she struggles with
• She is doing great in her last year of PreK and enjoyed her very first field trip to the Nashville Zoo
• She loved her Kindergarten Sneak a Peak

Conner:

• Conner is doing great on his new baseball team and hitting the ball really well
• He is also playing soccer and is learning a lot
• He is enjoying PreK and had a blast on his field trip to the Zoo
• He also had a blast at Kindergarten Sneak a Peak

Other than sports, sports and more sports, we enjoyed a fun Easter weekend with egg hunts and egg dying.

We had a great visit with SueSue and BooBoo to celebrate SueSue's Birthday!

May brings us more sports, the end of school, the beginning of summer break and hopefully some much needed down time!

February 2023

 Well running a little behind as usual!  February was a jam packed month with everyone playing all the things!

Conner and Thomas wrapped up basketball.  Conner had a blast and got a little better each week.

Thomas' team lost a close one in the Semi-Finals of the tournament.  His team was so much fun to watch and battled hard to the very end.

Sullivan's team also lost a tough game by 1 point in the Semi-Finals of her tournament.  Most of her teammates play soccer and everything seems to cross over by the end of February so we had to play our tournament game without some of our players which made it pretty tough!

Hudson's volleyball season is in full swing now.  They played in 3 tournaments in February and finished 2nd in one of them!  Losing in 3 sets to the Top Team in their age group!  It was a great match!

They are getting better every weekend and are so much fun to watch!

Soccer is now in full swing for Hudson, Sullivan, Tinsley and Conner and baseball is in full swing for Conner and Thomas!

We did manage to squeeze in a little bit of Valentine's Day fun in February.

Hudson enjoyed her first Middle school dance!

Sullivan and Tom got to dance the night away at their first Daddy/Daughter Dance also!

The little three had a great time exchanging Valentines and treats at school.

We also got Weller back from her two months away at Training Camp!  She was so happy to be back and is taking full advantage of all the snuggles!

That is about all for now.  

March brings us Soccer tournaments, baseball games, volleyball tournaments and much more!

January 2023

 A little late on a January update as usual but we had a busy sports filled month as you can imagine.

Hudson had her first Travel Volleyball tournament and loved it.  Her team played up and competed with some really good (and BIG) older girls.  We didn't walk away winners but they learned a lot and did really well for their first games ever together!

Of course we stacked a little indoor soccer tournament on top of the volleyball Tournament!  Hudson's team split in half and ended up both winning 2 games and tying each other and Hudson's half of the team won the Championship based on a one goal differential! The girls had a blast though!

Thomas and Sullivan continued on with basketball and are doing great.  They both have the end of the season tournament coming up.  Sullivan's team is the 2nd seed going in and Thomas' is either the 2nd or 3rd seed!

Conner wrapped up basketball in January! He had a blast, learned a little, still has no clue what is going on and thinks they won every game!  Tough being the youngest kid on the team, but I think he loved it and will be back for more next winter!

Tinsley is still loving gymnastics!  She got some new leotards for Christmas and is all about wearing them to "nastics" every week!

We wrapped up January with a trip to Chattanooga for the first outdoor soccer games of the spring season.  Hudson played two very though and big Georgia teams and won both games! Excited to see what the spring has in store for her team!

That is about all for January!  February brings us the end of basketball and the start of outdoor soccer for the girls and Conner and baseball for Thomas and Conner!  Never a dull moment!
