December 2022

Goodbye 2022 and hello 2023!  Hard to believe we are 16 days into the new year!  I'm running a bit behind as you can tell!

We wrapped up 2022 with the end of soccer, the beginning of basketball and gymnastics and of course Christmas!

Sullivan wrapped up her soccer season with a trip to Atlanta.  They played up in the top bracket of a tough event and ended up going 1-1-1.  They played well and battled every game!  It's fun to watch them learn and compete at a high level!

Sullivan, Thomas and Conner started their basketball seasons. Sullivan is playing with a new team (although made up of all old friends).  Thomas and Conner are on new teams and in a new league.  All three are doing well.  Conner is learning a lot and getting more and more confident with each game.  Thomas plays with all his school friends and they have a great time...and are pretty good little basketball players also!

Tinsley started a new gymnastics (or "nastics" as she calls it) class.  She LOVES it.

Hudson also started her new Alliance Volleyball Practices.  She LOVES it so far!

We celebrated our first Christmas in our new house and it was a good one!  We were able to make all of our inflatables fit in our much smaller front yard and even added a few to the family! (We added 2 more after this picture was taken...)

Baby Elfie and Santa found everyone at our new house and managed to get everyone just about everything on their list!

After Christmas, we headed down to Columbus for Halter Christmas!  It may have been the best one yet!

We spend two days at the Bradley Farm and I think everyone lived their best life.  The dogs ran around like crazy, the kids also ran around like crazy.  They all got to shoot a shotgun for the first time and the big girls and Tom enjoyed a Quail Hunt.  Well the big girls just watched the hunting dogs work, but Tom did some actual hunting!

We also managed to squeeze in our Annual Gingerbread House Decorating!

We also dropped Weller off at training camp while in Columbus! It was sad but hopefully she comes back a well trained, good listener!  (She had a way to go....)

On the way home we introduced everyone to Buc-Cee's of course!

We wrapped up December with college football, more basketball and the start of indoor soccer!

Looking forward to a jam packed 2023!

November 2022

A little bit late on November but we have been busy busy!

November brought us the end of soccer for the Twins!  They both loved it and learned a lot.

The twins are still loving their new school!  Sometimes they do look a little bit alike..as long as they are sitting!  Conner still has about 4 inches of height on Tinsley!

We had a wonderful week at the Beach over Thanksgiving with the Halter cousins.  It was a little chilly but it didn't stop the kids getting in the ocean and pool.

PJ took them crab hunting...

We enjoyed the heated pool a lot...

We had a great dinner out where Conner tried fried oysters for the first time and loved them.  Pretty sure he was starving and he thought it was chicken but it didn't stop him from devouring them!

We did a lot of digging on the beach and just about everyone got buried!

Funny to see me and Tom in sweatshirts and the kids in bathing suits in the ocean!  Oh well..they are way braver than me!

Beach sunsets are pretty awesome!

The pups enjoyed a week at doggy fun camp!  Pretty sure Weller loved it more than Hasil but they both survived!!

Since I am so far behind, Christmas will be in less than week!  We have had a busy December so far and can't wait to see if Santa finds our house on Christmas Eve!!

October 2022

Fall is finally here!  (Even though it is still 78 degrees in Nashville).

October brought us a very late birthday celebration for the Twins, some fun soccer trips for the girls, a big 12th birthday for Hudson and of course Halloween!

Hudson and Sullivan both enjoyed fun road trips for soccer.  Hudson to Cleveland, OH and Sullivan to St. Louis.

We finally got some time to celebrate the twins big Fifth birthday!  We had a blast bowling and playing in the arcade with all of our old neighborhood friends!

We enjoyed a week off of school during fall break.  Sullivan snuck away to the beach with a friend and then rest of us had a staycation here at home!  We were able to squeeze in some time at the Pumpkin Patch which was a lot of fun!

We also celebrated another birthday in October!  Hudson turned TWELVE!

She is past the age of big birthdays so instead I took her and two friends to a Haunted House/Haunted Woods.  It was hilarious watching them freak out all night!

We also enjoyed a couple of weekends with a soccer-free day here and there and we filled our time by getting...A NEW PUPPY.

Meet Weller, she is a five month old Red Lab.  We have had our eyes on her for a while but I just wasn't sure I was ready to go through the 9 week old puppy phase again.  But as time went on and she was the last of the litter, I figure it had to be fate!  So we drove halfway to Kentucky and picked her up just in time for Halloween!

Finally we wrapped up October with Halloween in our new neighborhood!  And it did not disappoint!  There were haunted garages, dance parties, an electric chair, tons of people and tons of fun!

That's about all for October!  November brings us the end of Soccer and the beginning of volleyball for Hudson, the end of Baseball/soccer and the start of basketball and gymnastics for the twins and the winding down of soccer and the start of basketball for Sullivan.

Never a dull moment around here!
